WHO WE ARE
Serving the LGBTQ Community of Northeast Ohio for Almost 30 Years!
Our History: Begun in January 1995 with about ten people, today Asians & Friends Cleveland has grown phenomenally with numberous active members on the roster representing such nations as Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Our Mission: Asians & Friends Cleveland promotes Asian culture in a positive, supportive, informative, and fun setting while bridging the gap between various cultures. We contribute a vital facet to the educational and cultural life of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities of Northeast Ohio region.
Working Together: Asians & Friends Cleveland actively collaborates with other groups in our community, state, and across the world. We have worked together with community groups like the AIDS Taskforce, the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center of Greater Cleveland, People of All Colors Together (PACT), Insight, Primetimers and Cleveland Pride. As a member of the International Friendship Alliance (IFA), we interact with other similar groups all over the world.

If you are interested in discovering more about your Asian identity, or are interested in meeting Asian men and women and experiencing their rich and varied cuisines and cultures, please join us at our regular events.
